Happy New Year Au Pairs!!
Our first meeting of the new year will be on Sunday, January 29th for a Sunday brunch at the home of your LCC. Please arrive at 11 am, come in your pajamas if you like. We will be having a representative from Suntrek Tours give a presentation on Suntrek trips.
Our Decemeber meeting is on the 18th at 4:30 pm. We are having a holiday party at the home of Pia’s host family in Woodsburgh. The address has been emailed to you.
Please bring a wrapped gift without tags and card for a gift exchange with a value of $10 - $15.
Please bring your au pair and join me for a host family event on Thursday, November 10th from 7 pm to 9 pm where will be pairing wine and cheese. Non alcoholic drinks will also be served.
I will be offering another meeting on Thursday, November 19th for any au pairs who do not attend the host family meeting.
Invites have been mailed to all host families. Please RSVP by November 3rd.
Please join me for a Haloween costume party on Saturday, October 29th at 8:30 p.m.
Please bring either a dessert or snack item.
If you are an au pair who is 21 or older and you plan on having alcohol DO NOT DRIVE to the party. Please secure a ride to the party and home for yourself.

One of the most fun au pair events all year is the Au Pair Disco Boat Cruise that departs from NYC. Hundreds of Cultural Care au pairs and friends attend this event, and it’s a great way to meet friends, see the Big Apple and dance to your favorite music.

When: Saturday, May 21st, 2011
Boarding Time: 6:30pm (please arrive by 6:00pm to check in and receive your ticket)
End Time: 10:00pm
Location: Pier 83, West 42nd Street, New York, NY 10036
Ticket Price: $20 per au pair. (non-refundable) You will need to provide credit card information when you register. Tickets will not be sold on site. The cruise sets sail at 6:30pm and is exclusively for au pairs and friends. A cash only bar will be available on the boat, please be sure to bring your proper ID if you are 21+ and would like to purchase alcohol.

Our April Monthly meeting is at Citifield in Queens to see a Met’s major league baseball game. Bring your hat, a camera and your enthusiasm as we watch the Met’s win a home game!
